Kaspersky Total Security 2017 (£39.99 per year, covers up to 3 devices)īut we just can't decide which one to choose Some tests/reviews say Bitdefender has better protection/detection. Bitdefender Total Security Multi-Device 2017 (£29.99 per year, covers up to 5 devices) As few user interaction requests as possibleĪfter reading half a dozen or so articles, it seems the two winners are: As little demand on resources (time, and especially CPU power, as our laptop is a low-end budget one (Intel N3700)) As low false positive ration as possible As complete and reliable protection as possible (best detection ratio and remove ability) So we decided that it's probably time to go for some better protection. So far we used Windows 10's inbuilt Firewall and Defender. We have two desktop and a laptop PC in our household.
